Our dye tester offers several advantages over simple test reagent bottles commonly used for this procedure. Firstly, the dye tester syringe features a long nozzle that allows precise application of the dye without creating unwanted water currents. Secondly, the syringe prevents water from being sucked back into the container, which allows the dye to stay concentrated even when used while diving. Moreover, our special concentrated dye holds together well underwater for precise leak identification.

The dye is available in dark blue to show up against light backgrounds and fluorescent yellow to stand out against dark backgrounds. This vibrant dye color has been formulated with high saturation and visibility, enabling easy detection of water movement and leaks from above the water's surface. The dye is also designed to hold together in water, helping to identify even small and slow leaks.

The kit's pre-filled syringe and extension straw allow for easy and precise application of the dye at the location of the suspected leak. It also includes an 8oz bottle that can be used to refill the syringe up to 40 times (~6ml Syringe) for ongoing leak detection.

To use the kit, simply discharge a small amount of dye within ¼ inch of the suspected leak area and monitor the dye to see if it is pulled out of the pool with the water escaping through the leak. Before testing, ensure the pool is filled to its normal operating level, and the pump/circulatory system is turned off.
